David Galazka has been promoted to Senior Associate. David’s experience has included serving as a project manager for some of JPRA’s most expansive retail and mixed-use projects across the country. Noteworthy among his recent and current projects are onsite project management of the new International Market Place in Oahu, Hawaii; and Westfield’s Valley Fair renovation and expansion in currently underway in California. He has also served as project manager on The Village of Rochester Hills and the Woodland Mall Food Court, coordinating project teams from schematic design through construction administration, and overseeing all phases of the projects. He provides continual contact with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, assists junior staff, oversees the development of construction documents, and provides construction administration. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology at Lawrence Technological University.
Michael Moeller has been promoted to Senior Associate. Mike has led project teams for various expansive retail and mixed-use projects across North America, including his current work on the Westfield Valley Fair renovation/expansion in San Jose, California; and the Foothills Mall Redevelopment in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mike brings his experience in both the architecture and construction industries to help guide project deliverables, project scheduling, budget control, quality control, bid document development, and monitoring of construction activities. Mike’s career experience also includes serving as a project architect/manager on a diverse range of projects including emergency operation centers, K-12 educational facilities, universities, court houses, Air National Guard Base renovations/additions, and cold storage facilities. Prior to architecture, Mike worked in the construction industry as site superintendent, estimator, and carpenter for both commercial and residential projects. Mike earned his Master of Architecture degree from Lawrence Technological University.
Don Garofalo has been promoted to Associate. Don brings his knowledge and experience managing comprehensive projects to his work at JPRA where he oversees the construction documentation process, works with team members and consultants to ensure an accurate understanding of the design intent, and ensures requirements and expectations are met. His experience as a project manager includes development and execution of construction documents for some of the most complex retail projects in North America. The quality of his work, his skill with managing expansive projects, and his expertise on all phases of a project make him an invaluable asset to any JPRA project. Prior to joining JPRA, Don was part of a team for the award-winning Flat Rock Community Center and Gibraltar City Hall/Police/Fire facility. He has served as a project manager, project architectural staff, and senior draftsman on many commercial, municipal, religious, healthcare, and educational projects. He earned an Associate in Science degree in Architectural Construction from Henry Ford Community College.
Matt Siegrist has been promoted to Associate & Studio Leader_Environmental Graphics. Matt will continue his exceptional work leading the visioning and design for JPRA’s signage projects, collaborating with the firm’s designers, and facilitating client relationships. His environmental graphics, wayfinding programs, and signage creativity and expertise has been showcased across North America, including recently, Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Tsawwassen Mills in Vancouver, British Columbia. Matt’s Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is from Western Michigan University.
