April 2018 – JPRA Architects are thrilled to join with developers JEMB Realty of New York and Alberta Development Partners of Denver in celebrating the announcement of Pocono Springs Entertainment Village in the Pocono resort area of Pennsylvania. The Poconos Springs Entertainment Village in Tobyhanna Township is expected to be one of the largest of its kind in North America.
In keeping with the forward-looking focus of JPRA’s current work, the 175-acre village will offer experiential, dining and retail experiences for visitors. Pocono Springs Entertainment Village will be constructed in three phases with groundbreaking planned in 2019 and the first phase opening in 2021.

The project will be nestled among the Poconos’ historical tourist destination known for its natural ambiance. Slated to become one of the largest destinations of its kind in North America, the site will include an aquarium, themed restaurants, a hot air balloon, and a movie theater. The attraction provide visitors expanded opportunities to experience the beauty of the Pocono Mountains with a public park, winter ice rink, hiking and biking trails.
