JPRA has developed a specific sustainable design approach for our retail, hospitality and office clients, based on our experience with the unique aspects of these building types. Whether you intend to seek LEED Certification for your project, or simply want to take advantage of the many real benefits of a sustainably designed facility, our team can lead you through the choices and decisions in a strategic way to produce a cost-effective solution to meet your objectives.
- Sustainable Design practices are an integral part of JPRA’s mission. JPRA is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and counts 9 LEED APs among its staff. Our expertise includes the application of Sustainable Design methodology to new construction, major renovations, core & shell construction, site planning, and contract interiors.
- Retrofitting existing buildings to increase their sustainability, maintain market value and reduce operating costs is a process which property owners are increasingly pursuing, even if the property isn’t scheduled for cosmetic renovation. JPRA’s Sustainable Design Team and associated consultants can comprehensively evaluate your property and develop a long-term strategy that makes sense.
- An emphasis is placed on sustainable solutions that produce measurable reductions in immediate and long-term operating costs for our clients, as well as visible “green” elements that can help their projects win community and governmental acceptance and enhance marketing and leasing.
- JPRA designed a 30,000 square foot office building which was awarded LEED® Silver Certification, the first LEED Certified building in the City of Novi. This building is currently being leased by TATA Technologies.
