Senior Technical Architect 

We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Architect with substantial and proven professional skills acquired from prior work experience and education. An individual in this position will collaborate with the Project Manager/Senior Associate, while working independently, as part of a team, or as the lead of a team in the development of documents for small to large scale projects. Documents may be developed in Revit and/or AutoCAD, (as project requirements dictate), proficiency in both is required. The position also requires the individual to be well-versed in coordinating with technical consultants across all disciplines, and throughout all standard phases of architectural service


  • Develop drawing sets using JPRA and AIA standards; must be able to produce/assemble a set of construction documents from start to finish in Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills, to ensure technical development of documents, project coordination, and quality control for assigned projects.

  • Contribute to the creation of quality and comprehensive documentation for all phases of a project, ensuring compliance with design intent, applicable codes, ADA and other jurisdictional requirements, project scope, schedule, and budget. 

  • Capable of carrying out independent assignments with minimal supervision.

  • Research and suggest products and systems for use as part of building envelope assemblies.

  • Actively participate in team meetings (virtual and in-person).

  • Lead and/or coordinate the work of consultants and possess a strong understanding of structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety building systems.

  • Ability to multi-task, manage time/workload, and meet client deadlines within allowable timeframes as determined by the project manager or Principal in charge.

  • Experienced in standard architectural responsibilities during construction administration, including review of shop drawings, RFI's, virtual or in-person attendance at construction meetings with owner, contractor, and creation of project punch lists.

  • Ensure office and industry standards for projects are maintained.

  • Reports to the Project Manager and/or Principal in charge of assigned projects.

  • Bachelor of Architecture preferred.

  • 5-10 years of architectural experience, exhibiting strong detailing skills and an understanding of constructability issues.

  • Proven experience in Revit as a primary modeler and in developing technical details.

  • Architectural license preferred.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as verbal presentation skills.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to recall information and documents quickly.

  • Review and coordinate design and construction documents.

  • Works well under deadline pressure, and as part of a team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in design software including Revit and AutoCAD, as well as Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Work is performed sitting at a PC.

  • Travel may be required.
