WILLIAM J. BEITZ, JR., AIA

William J. Beitz, Jr. has been with JPRA for more than 30 years. As President from 2013 to 2022, he led architecture, construction administration and technical research in addition to serving as JPRA's Chief Executive Officer_Managing Principal through 2023. Bill is a Licensed Architect in 26 states.

 

Bill's background includes serving as an instructor of architecture in the construction systems sequence at Lawrence Technological University. He has also served on the AIA Professional Practice Committee, Detroit Chapter, and chaired a committee responsible in part for revision to Article 20 of the Occupational Code for Michigan Compiled Laws, which governs the practice of architecture, professional engineering and land surveying.

He is a member of the American Institute of Architects; Michigan Society of Architects; the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards; and ICSC: (The International Council of Shopping Centers), serving for many years on the CenterBuild Program Advisory Committee. He was also a long-time member of the Ontario Association of Architects; Alberta Association of Architects; and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
