Designer

We are seeking a collaborative Designer with the creativity, skills, and communication abilities to thrive in a team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in design development, presentations, and rendering efforts.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the completion of design documents for assigned projects. 

  • Open to learning new skills and approaches with a collaborative mindset.

  • Collaborate on project design concepts and ensure consistency with budgetary and time constraints.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to coordinate with the Project Manager at every stage of the project to ensure alignment on design, scope, and deliverables.

  • Ability to interpret and develop comprehensive architectural design packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project requirements and standards.

  • Work within the firm's visual guidelines to produce photorealistic and/or styled renderings that align with project goals..

  • Participate in design strategy sessions and/or client meetings and presentations.

  • Work in a collaborative environment, including mentoring junior staff.

  • Communicate and coordinate with various consultants from different trades.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field.

  • 7-*10 years of architectural design experience.

  • Experience working in team settings and with consultants from various trades.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strong team-oriented communication skills, with exceptional verbal, listening, and written communication abilities.

  • Proficient in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proficient in rendering software, including Enscape and/or Lumion.

  • Aptitude for resolving complex design and project challenges.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Team-based hybrid work environment (based on performance, hybrid work benefits may be available to new employees after 30 days).

  • Travel for site observation and meetings may be required.
