The most recent updates at The Mall at Short Hills are aligned with current trends toward retrofitting closed retail box stores, and adding clean energy features. When the Saks store at Short Hills closed, the space was re-purposed to add the Indigo bookstore, Crate&Barrel, and the Industrious co-working office space on the third level. The parking deck is outfitted with 9,000 solar panels that generate a significant amount of the mall’s energy needs.
