The Westchester maintained its position as one of the most elegant shopping destinations in New York with this multi-million dollar renovation project. Chic updates to the 20-year-old, 883,000 sq ft shopping center included modern materials, lighting and state-of-the-art amenities throughout. Shoppers enjoy the spacious soft seating areas with charging stations for phones and computers, upgraded restrooms and modernized elevators, sleek lighting, new natural tile and stone flooring on two retail levels and carpeting on the third level, improved signage, fresh landscaping, parking improvements including brighter lighting, and new entryway façades and appointments.
The Westchester’s food hall’s complete renovation focused on creating a sophisticated, yet relaxed vibe. The new “Savor Westchester” brought in first-to-market dining options. Modern textures, natural elements, and specialty lighting elevate the space to complete the food hall experience with custom details, luxe fabrics, energetic mosaic flooring, and technology components. The outdoor dining terrace with an indoor/outdoor fireplace redefined the space as a meeting spot for friends to enjoy views of the park below while grabbing a bite, or enjoying a fashion show or jazz ensemble. Visitors also enjoy the new entertainment and technology lounge, and play area, all designed to provide a sense of community, comfort and convenience.
